Last year a record 332 kids from Pre-School through 8th grade participated in the clinic that the Nebraska Husker Volleyball team, coaches and staff, and your Match Club hosted at the Coliseum. Each participant went through 7 different stations and learned many of the skills that the Huskers show all of us during each match. An autograph / meet and greet session followed with the members of the Lil Red Spikers able to again rub elbows with the Huskers. A lunch was then served and was catered by Culvers of Lincoln.

This year's participants will receive a Lil Red Spikers exclusive T-shirt, the clinic, lunch, and special autograph session with the players and coaches of the 2010 Nebraska Volleyball team, and receive a team poster,. They will also receive one reserved ticket to the Red/White game later that evening, and be able to take a drug free pledge prior to that game led by this year's seniors. The fee also includes a reserved ticket to the Players Challenge featuring Nebraska vs. Illinois volleyball game to be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at the Bob Devaney Sports Center. Additional reserved tickets to both matches may also be purchased.

The 2010 Lil Red Spikers clinic registration form is available online at www.thematchclub.org at the Lil Red Spikers area. Last year's participants were also mailed a copy of the registration form, and a copy will also be in this Match Club newsletter. The cost of membership in the 2010 Lil Red Spikers Kids Club is $25.00 per child and $20.00 for each additional child from the same family. Again, membership to Kids Club this year is limited to the first 350 paid registrations that are received. If you have not registered before we reach this number of 350 registrations, or sign up after the deadline of July 23rd, your child will not be a member of the 2010 Lil Red Spikers.
